Congratulations both St Davids and Baileys Bay, both teams I hold dear to my heart, growing up as a youngster in St Davids and finding my love for cricket before moving up to Bay as a pre-teen and deciding on the eve of my first county match to represent Bay. I have no regrets. Having been a part of St Davids first league championship, it is good to see that they have continued to be consistant. Also to Bay,whom never seem to give up and fight to the end, which made this season exciting to the final match. Unfortunately I was only healthy enough to watch one match. I would also like to congratulate a few young players who I have admired and produced this weekend. Delone and Justin who both scored centuries for St Davids, Coolidge Durham for Bay, who has always had a never give up attitude, scored 83 in a winning cause for Bay. Last, Macai Simmons and Onias Bascome from St Georges, the team I am presently signed, for putting in a great bowling performance. I would also like to acknowledge a team that doesn’t have the most talent but works hard and always shows up to play no matter what, and that’s Somerset Bridge CC! I have always admired these players and their dedication and always thought about helping them in some capacity but it never materialized. Hopefully when I beat this cancer, I can give back to cricket and help them out in the future! Thanks to all members and fans of our cricket family who have sent their well wishes and encouraging words. Many Blessing!

Hey Glenn, Good to hear from you and trust you will continue to embrace and encourage our Youth. The game isn’t over until the last ball is bowled. You thrilled so many during your time at bat and when you finished playing, it was a sad time for your fans and supporters. But know that you are thought of quite often and that many are praying and holding you in their thoughts. God Bless and keep!
Thank you! Your thoughtful words are very uplifting, especially at this trying time. I just want to reassure you that I wont give up,I WILL NEVER GIVE UP! I’m deeply touched to know that so many people are rooting for me as I continue to battle against this tough bowling(cancer).Throughout my career, bowlers have tied me down but have never dominated me and I’m looking forward to beating this cancer all over the field!
I’m touched to know that I have thrilled fans and supporters as I couldn’t have done it without you. I never played for personal accomplishment, but only for the love of the game and the fans! Thanks, you have all inspired me to continue my fight. Its a long shot, but who knows, with the father on my side, I may have one last century on my bat! Thanks again for your kind and caring words of encouragement.
Many Blessings
Glenn
