Investigation Continues Into Fatal Road Collision
The police continue to investigate the collision that resulted in the death of 84-year-old Maureen Peckett, and said they are “seeking the driver and or occupants of a small white car that was travelling west along South Road, Devonshire directly behind Mrs. Peckett’s car the night of the collision.”
A police spokesperson said, “The investigation continues regarding the collision that claimed the life of 84-year-old Maureen Peckett, Bermuda’s eleventh road fatality of the year.
“Mrs. Peckett was seriously injured in a reported two car collision on South Road in Devonshire near the junction with Melville Crescent around 9:45pm Thursday, October 20th and remained in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit until her passing 1:25pm Friday, November 11th.
“In particular, police are now seeking the driver and or occupants of a small white car that was travelling west along South Road, Devonshire directly behind Mrs. Peckett’s car the night of the collision.
