Christmas Day Luncheon At Hamilton Church
Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church is hosting a Christmas Day luncheon to help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a Christmas day meal.
This is the sixth consecutive year the church will be hosting the luncheon, which is being co-sponsored by Global Atlantic Re Ltd.
The menu, prepared by the church’s Gourmet Committee, will consist of the traditional Christmas fixings, such as roasted turkey, cassava pie, an assortment of side dishes, along with vegetarian options, all of the other accompaniments, culminating with an array of holiday desserts.
Dr. Sydney Gibbons, the Sr. Pastor of the church, said, “We are and continue to be very blessed!!! This is the spirit of Christmas. Despite the continuous downturn on the island, with jobs being made redundant, consequently resulting in unemployed, we still have a responsibility to the community at large, particularly during this special time of year.
“We worship and serve a loving God, who has mandated us to help our fellow man and what better day and time then Christmas. So, please come and join us as we celebrate the season of giving.”
The event will be held from 12.00pm to 4.00pm on Sunday, December 25 at the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Youth Centre, located just behind the church on King Street.
