Premier Promotes Bermuda On NY Radio
The Premier Michael Dunkley is currently in New York this week on personal travel, and while in New York, the Premier used the opportunity to promote Bermuda by participating in a lengthy radio interview.
The interview took place with 1010 WINS Radio Station earlier today and topics discussed included Bermuda’s welcoming hospitality, our tourism product, next year’s America’s Cup and the Island’s respected international business reputation.
1010 WINS is a CBS affiliated radio station which has one of the largest listening audiences in the US and features information on current events and general news. It broadcasts to a listening audience in the New York metropolitan area.
Also while in New York the Premier attended the Tony Award winning Broadway musical, Hamilton on Thursday night, where he watched Bermuda’s own Nicholas Christopher in the critically acclaimed production.
Following the production, Premier Dunkley had an opportunity to meet Mr. Christopher and some of the cast and personally commended “their powerful performances”.
Update: The Premier is pictured with some of the Hamilton cast – Seth Stewart, Bermuda’s Nicholas Christopher and Michael Luwoye
Who cares? This man can’t help himself. Even when he is away he can’t wait to get in the news. Give it up already. It is almost creepy. What does he do but get in front on the camera doing photo ops?
WOW, 1010 WINS. Have not heard that one in awhile. Used to listen to it almost every night when it was a rock station.
Promoting BDA on his own dime – commendable. Had that been Dr. 10% we would have footed the bill for him, his advisers and his bodyguards. How times have changed!
Good man for the task. Scrap for what you can progress-wise. Keep it up!
Now we need increased air lift as it is almost impossible to get in or out of Bermuda over the holidays. 2017 is going to be a great year IF we can increase our capacity.
Try getting in or out May or June next year. Are airlines laying on extra flights or larger aircraft?
There’s still plenty of flights lmfao…
