“Santa’s Workshop” & Bike Display At Dockyard
The West End Development Corporation will be hosting an afternoon of activities on Sunday [Dec 11] starting at 1.00pm at the Royal Naval Dockyard featuring “Santa’s Workshop” and the Bermuda Classic Bike Club.
The West End Development Corporation said, “Kids can enjoy Santa’s Workshop with free ornament decorating, free snow mountain slides, and free face painting or henna. There will even be snow at 4pm!
“You can even visit with Santa in the Frog & Onion and then see his elves in the Workshop, all while dad enjoys the motorcycle show and mom gets her gifts wrapped in the mall for free.
“Don’t forget to walk over to Dolphin Quest with your glow sticks at 5pm to sing carols with the dolphins and have a free hot chocolate.”
The Bermuda Classic Bike Club said, “The bike display at the Royal Naval Dockyard on Sunday will see a “People Choice” trophy introduced that is open to both Members and Non-Members of the club who want to enter their bikes for the trophy.
“Non-members who enter their bikes will be charged a nominal fee of $5.00. The remainder of those who attend and don’t want to enter the people’s choice award will not be charged any fees.
“This year we are hoping it will encourage folks from the western end of the island to attend with motorcycles not often seen in public. If it goes well, we will look to hold it every year or two years.”
