$100 Million Superyacht “Rock. It” Visits Island
The superyacht Rock.It is currently visiting the east end, with the 198-foot long luxury vessel offering accommodation for up to 10 guests in five cabins, with a raft of onboard amenities.
The yacht is said to have cost $100 million, and is reportedly owned by American billionaire Jimmy John Liautaud, the founder of Jimmy John’s sandwich chain.
“Rare hardwoods, beautifully backlit onyx and Pollaro furniture are just some of the stunning highlights of the interior spaces on board. The main salon features a formal wet bar and two large seating areas to port and starboard, both with beautiful cream-colored furniture and red accents,” a sale listing for the boat said.
“Further forward, a formal dining area welcomes 12 guests to the table. The high-gloss interior, marble accents and intricate lighting of Rock.It exude contemporary elegance.
“Five lavish staterooms onboard luxury motor yacht ROCK.IT welcome 10 guests. The full-beam master is located on the main deck and offers a walk-in wardrobe and a sumptuous his-and-hers en-suite bathroom.
“Two VIP staterooms, one twin and one double all are located below deck. These accommodations all offer en-suite bathrooms.
“The main and bridge decks aft both offer alfresco dining. The sun deck’s well-thought-out layout ensures maximum use of space. Various lounge areas abound; the Jacuzzi is flanked by large sun pads and a full bar with seating options is found under cover.
This is what I’m talking about. Somebody else with a sense of style and taste when it comes to yachts.
