Ball Hockey: Bermuda, Ex-Pats & Boston Win
The Bermuda Classic Ball Hockey Tournament got underway at the PCC Hockey Rink. A total of 25 goals were scored on the first day of the Tournament.
Bermuda 7 Canada East 6
This game needed a shootout to decide a winner with Jeremy Estey connecting for the Bermuda win.
Cam Poland led the Bermuda team to victory with 2 goals in regulation, while Chris Coleman, Jeff Loper, Chris Jackson and Robbie Bailey scored a goal each for Bermuda. Josh Bush and Nathan Kowalski scored 2 goals each for Canada East, with Ronnie Dzurus and Brian White added a goal each.
Canada West 0 Ex-Pats 2
Ken Shulha and Kirby Smith scored a goal each for the Ex-Pats in their 2 – 0 win over Canada West in the second match of the day.
Bermuda 2 Boston 8
Boston made the biggest statement of the tournament with a convincing 8 – 2 win over Bermuda. Jorden Senecal led Boston with 5 goals, Dave Parquette added 2 goals and Raf Guimaraes added the other. Bermuda got a goal from Jeff Loper and Chris Jackson.
