Silence The Shame, Savvy Sessions Postponed
The Silence the Shame event scheduled for today [Sept 29] and the Savvy Sessions event scheduled for tomorrow [Sept 30] have been postponed due to inclement weather and the holding of flights.
A spokesperson said, “Due to the inclement weather and the holding of flights, it saddens us to announce that Silence the Shame scheduled for Friday, September 29th and Savvy Sessions scheduled for Saturday, September 30th has been postponed.
“While we are extremely disappointed that these events will not be taking place this weekend, we truly believe in putting safety first. We are working diligently to book new dates and will inform the public accordingly.
“It is unfortunate that weather was not on our side considering the important message Silence the Shame brings and the new opportunities for artist in Bermuda Savvy Sessions brings. We want the public to know that we have no intention of cancelling the event but postpone it until further notice” says, Anthony Blakey CEO.
“We would like to thank the public for their interest, our scheduled panellist and event partners for their support and our selected Savvy Sessions artists for their dedication.
“The event will be rescheduled and the public will be notified.”
