Basketball League: Hornets & Warriors Win
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Elite City League season resumed inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with yet another double header that resulted in 313 points scored.
In the opener the Hornets defeated the Renegades 54 – 45, Omar Wolfe led the Hornets to victory with 11 points, while Corey Vance scored 11 points for the Renegades.
Game 2 saw the Warriors defeat the Falcons 111 – 103 after Double Over-Time. The Warriors were led by Kobe Imlay with 38 points, while Jonathan Lugo scored 25 points, Kevin Stephens scored a game high 40 points for the Falcons, while Chris Crumpler chipped in with 32 points.
