Berkeley Secure Running Clock Championships
Two nights of basketball resulted in two Berkeley Institute teams securing the annual Bermuda Basketball Association [BBA] running clock tournaments. “The JV team defeated Warwick in a thrilling final at CedarBridge Academy [CBA] on Thursday evening securing the win 21-18″, according to a spokesperson.
“On Friday night The Varsity Girls played Saltus Grammar in their final at home. Although taking an early lead Saltus battled back leaving a tense 60 seconds of basketball. However, Berkeley had already done enough to secure a 14-12 victory.
“The season will continue for the next three weeks. Next home games will be on Friday 9th March at 4.00pm.”
