Real Estate Brokers, Agents Outreach Session
There will be an outreach session for real estate brokers and agents on Wednesday [March 14] at 2.00pm at the Cathedral Church Hall of the Most High Trinity at Church Street, Hamilton.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Superintendent of Real Estate [the “Superintendent”] hereby advises real estate brokers and agents that there will be an outreach session at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Cathedral Church Hall of the Most High Trinity, located at Church Street, Hamilton.
“Topics of discussion will include:
- 1. Summary findings of the national risk assessment impacting the real estate sector;
- 2. Update on implementation of AML/ATF supervisory framework in real estate;
- 3. International typologies and indicators for real estate;
- 4. Suspicious activity reporting obligations and how to report to the Financial Intelligence Agency; and
- 5. Q&A on implementation of AML/ATF obligations for real estate brokers”
