Advisory: Traffic Controls In Harrington Sound
BELCO advised that “emergency excavation and repair work” is taking place on Harrington Sound Road from today through Monday, and traffic controls will be in place.
A spokesperson said, “BELCO wishes to advise motorists that emergency excavation and repair work will be taking place on Harrington Sound Road approximately 225 ft east of the old Harrington Sound Post Office from Saturday, 14 April through Monday 16 April 2018.
“This work is necessary to carry out emergency repairs on a 22kV transmission cable fault. Traffic controls will be in place.
“Traffic delays are anticipated and motorists are advised to approach with caution while work is ongoing and, with the exception of critical/residential access to Harrington Sound Road, to use alternative routes.
“BELCO thanks motorists for their patience and apologises for any inconvenience while this essential work is carried out.”
