Daniel’s Head Beach Is Open For Summer
A floating water park, snorkeling, jet ski tours, snowballs, and snacks are some of the offerings at Daniel’s Head beach in the west end, which is open for the 2018 summer season.
The BLDC said they welcomed back vendors from last year, and are also “introducing new products and services available for visitors to enjoy.”
“Last year, we reopened Daniel’s Head Beach to the public after making improvements to the property,” said Bermuda Land Development Company Limited [BLDC] Chief Executive Officer, Francis Mussenden.
“Whilst we continue to market the area to interested developers and investors, we are happy to open the beach to the public again, so everyone can enjoy it, as well as give local entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their businesses.”
The floating water park, run by X20 Adventures, is back, offering slides, fun obstacles, and a new Kids Zone for smaller children to enjoy the fun as well.
Co-owner of X20 Adventures Dionne Tuzo said, “The beach at Daniel’s Head is the perfect location for our water park. We’re really looking forward to another busy season. And we’re grateful to the BLDC for giving X20 the opportunity to set up our business last year and welcoming us back this year.”
BLDC added, “Activities at Daniel’s Head beach include snorkeling and jet ski tours – both of which are new to Daniel’s Head beach this year. Snack Shack has returned, offering snowballs and snacks to beachgoers. Also new this year is Hardwired Jewelry Art selling original handmade jewelry. BLDC expects more vendors to open at Daniel’s Head during the summer.”
“This year’s small business entrepreneurs will be able to provide a full contingent of products and activities to create a wonderful day at Daniel’s Head beach for both residents and visitors,” said Mr. Mussenden.

is that awful smell from the farm still there
I’ll take the smell of a few cows and sheep over all the crap left from the ‘eco’ resort. The shoreline is a disaster, the developers should be held accountable. Eventually the tax payers will foot the bill.
How is the shoreline a disaster??
