Hockey: BHF League Season Gets Underway
The 2018/19 Bermuda Hockey Federation’s league Season got underway with a double-header at the National Sports Center, with the two matches producing a total of 22 goals.
Pink Robins 11 Bermuda Under 21 Team 0
Emma Ranger led the Pink Robins to victory with a hat-trick, while Heather Sinclair, Jennifer Chisnall and Leana Coetsee all added two goals each, and Jo Heaney and Nikki Stoddart added a goal each for the win.
Mixed B Team 9 Ravens 2
The Mixed B Team defeated the Ravens 9 – 2 in the other game of the day. Tom Gridley would lead the Mixed B Team to victory with a hat-trick, Matthew Spencer and Tyler Smith both added two goals each, while Nick Burke and Jack Findley added a goal each, and Katie Masters scored both goals for the Ravens.
