Orange Ferry Route Restored To Normal Today
The Department of Marine and Ports Services is advising that the Orange Route ferry service between Dockyard and St. George’s has been restored to normal operating service today [Oct 11].
The route has been suspended a few times in recent weeks, and we asked for clarification and the Ministry explained, “Ferry cancellations this month have been limited to the Orange St George’s Route only.
“They have been as a result of the weather conditions along with the sea state off the eastern end of the island. Whenever tropical revolving storms are in the general area of Bermuda, wave heights can be considerably affected.”
