Reminder: Registrar General On Charities
The Registrar General today [Nov 22] issued an advisory to remind the public that “pursuant to recently made amendments to the Charities Act 2014, it is now mandatory for all persons that currently operate or administer a Privately Funded Charitable Trust or a Privately Funded Charity to register with the Registry General.”
“This notice applies to all entities that are not currently being administered by either a licenced Cooperate Service Provider or a licenced Trust Service Provider,” a spokesperson said.
“All entities should have been registered with the Registry General by November 10th 2018. If you have any questions pleas”e contact charitabletrustinfo@gov.bm or consult the guidance notes published on the Registry General’s page on www.gov.bm.”
