Bernews posted more than 200 videos across our various social networks during October 2018, and the top ten most viewed videos on YouTube included the PLP Delegates Conference, BELCO workers withdraw labour, Crime Stoppers appeal, Disney Magic cruise ship,, police press conference on recent shootings, the ‘Stop the Violence’ event, BELCO staff gather outside, ‘Taking Off’ and the BFRS extinguishing a vehicle fire.
As far as Facebook videos, the top one for the month was a live video of Disney Magic cruise ship arriving for its inaugural call with almost 8,000 views, the second was the Disney Magic to make inaugural with almost 7,500 views, and the third was a live video of the Bermuda International Gombey Festival Showcase.
On Instagram, the most viewed video for the month was the Crime Stoppers Bermuda appeal for witnesses or information regarding the murder of Taylor Grier, the second was boxer Nikki Bascome, and the third was the Bernews Morning Newsflash on October 9.
The most watched Twitter video was the Bernews Morning Newsflash on October 23, the second was the Bernews Morning Newsflash on October 29, while the third was the Bernews Morning Newsflash on October 3.
