City’s Late Night Shopping Gets Underway
‘Christmas In The City’ Late Night Shopping got underway tonight [Dec 14] with lower Reid Street as well as Queen Street closed to vehicles as of 5.00pm allowing those areas to cater to more pedestrian traffic.
The City of Hamilton is sponsoring Late Night Shopping tonight and on December 21st. “An array of entertainment including buskers, dance troupes, choirs as well as a DJ have been secured on the two evenings to add a festive element to the final nights of Friday Late Night Shopping. The City will also be surprising some lucky shoppers at the retailers’ tills when making purchases,” the City previously said.
