Interruption In Bus Service On December 10
There will be an interruption in bus service on Monday [Dec 10] from 10.30am until 12.30pm to accommodate a meeting, the DPT has confirmed.
A spokesperson said, “The Department of Public Transportation [DPT] is advising of an interruption in bus service on Monday, 10 December from 10.30 am until 12.30 pm.
“This interruption in service is to accommodate a meeting between the DPT management and employees represented by the Bermuda Industrial Union to discuss a proposed change in starting time, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
“The provision of an earlier start time will provide improved service to the general public.
“The DPT apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.”
This will be the second interruption of bus service this month to accommodate a meeting, following after the one on Tuesday, December 4th.
So what’s going to be different!
what is funny is that after the plp said that they would fix this immediately …..well 18 months later we are still there ….wanna bet after 2 years we will see more of the same
I demand on behalf of the people of bermuda tha any and all tax dollar tha funds public transportation (buses) ,be returned to said tax payers as breach of contract .
Ferries can keep their money…they do good work.
Question;-( how many plp ministers does it take to run public transportation (buses).
Answer;-( unsure.
Appology unacceptable.
No excuse necessary.
Fix it.
You should make comments under like 20 different names…nobody would ever know.
The airline business flies thousands of planes a day. Normally on schedule.
We can’t organize what 50 odd busses. EMBARRASSED
So what else is new with the bus service.
Maybe the general public should boycott the bus service
for a while.
It’s all bullhockey.
No need for drivers to be there at this meeting.
Make a F*&^% schedual and post it.
If they don’t like it; nothing will change.
Good God.
And they still get paid for F*&^% again, every month yearly.
Not much will be left in 10 years except Uighurs and Cahows…
