That’s it! Keep publishing where and when you are going to be out and about and everyone will schedule their drunk driving on the 20th and the 24th and 25th!
Why do we need to publish this information? Isn’t the objective not only to dissuade them but also to catch them?
It’s the law that at this time they must advertise vs use their power to stop on a random basis. The law will change to allow mass stops as a course of random enforcement
if u ask me this is a classic case of abuse of power not roadside sobriety
No one asked you but how is roadside sobriety testing, and not even on christmas day either, an abuse of power? Police are paid to enforce the law and no sane person would defend drunk driving. “The law is the law” only when they target cruise visitors or pepper spray old people?
um sorry but most of our road deaths are do to pure negligance not drunk driving fact!
Provide us with proof of that then.
um sorry but since u took offence to my post u do know most of our road deaths are do to pure negligance?
Other countries around the world got to be thinking..Bermuda tell its people in advance where checkpoints going to be? Stupid. Wake up. Anytime anywhere checks. Whatever time of the day/night. Thats how other countries do it.
Actually there are other places in the world that also have to put forward advance notice.
What about over Christmas and New Years and the other parishes. In 2019 publish Jan 1, 2019 to Dec 31, 2019 for the entire island and save money on ads.
