14 Goals Scored In Ball Hockey Double Header
The Bermuda Ball Hockey League season resumed for the first time in 2019 with a double header at the PCC Hockey Rink with 14 goals scored.
Kelowna Rockets 4 Calgary Hitmen 5
In the opener the Calgary Hitmen edged the Kelowna Rockets 5 – 4.
The Calgary Hitmen found themselves leading 2 – 1 at the end of the first period, they got a goal from Ross Rufiange and Scott Shannon, while the Kelowna Rockets got strike off the stick of David Provost.
Both teams scored a goal each in the second period, as the Kelowna Rockets got a goal from Greg Van Der Made, while Rufiange scored his second goal of the game for the Calgary Hitmen.
The two teams scored two goals each in the final period; Jeff Morash hit back to back goals for the Calgary Hitmen, while the Kelowna Rockets got single strikes from Bill Calko and David Provost.
Worchester Railers 4 Red Deer Rebels 1
In the nightcap, the Worchester Railers defeated the Red Deer Rebels 4 – 1. The Worchester Railers got two goals off the stick of Andrew Bonner, while Jj Saur and Christopher Jackson added a goal each, and Paul Debarros scored the lone goal for the Red Deer Rebels.
