Upcoming: 5K/1K Walk Or Run Event For Dogs
Dog owners are invited to take part in a fun 5K/1K walk and/or run event being organized at Horseshoe Bay Beach on Sunday, March 31st, the last day that dogs are allowed on the beaches.
A spokesperson said, “Calling all dogs and their humans! Come out for a fun race/walk on Sunday, March 31st, 2019 starting at the western end of Horseshoe Bay Beach. This is the last day that dogs are allowed on the beaches so join us for a fun 5K/1K walk and/or run event.
“The entry fee is $15 per dog and their human companions. Goodie bags available for finishers and fun races at the end time permitting. Sign up for the event is on RaceDayWorld and the deadline is March, 29th, 2019.
“Part proceeds will be donated to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre as they provide a wonderful service to the community during a tough time in people’s lives. Event will begin at 9.00 am. Come on out dogs, bring your humans for some fun!”
