Results: Burchall Brothers, Matthews Cup Races
The Bermuda Comet Class held two long distance races that started and finished outside the West End Sailboat Club.
Stephen Dickinson and his crew Pat Young crossed the line first in the Burchall Brothers Bowl race, that saw the sailors race from the club around Five-Star Island and back.
Dickinson and Young crossed the line with a commanding lead ahead of Gladwin Lambert and his crew Stefan Maybury who finished second, Rajae Woods and Joshua Simons was third, with Quinton Simons and Greg Proctor crossing the line 4th and Maxwell Curtis and Lorenzo Lambert finishing 5th.
The second race was for the Matthews Cup that saw the sailors round Pearl Island and back, with Dickinson and Young winning again, Curtis and Lambert finished second, Woods and Simons crossed the line third, while Lambert and Maybury finished 4th and Simons and Proctor finished 5th.
