Court: Man Charged With Stealing From Bank
A man was remanded into custody after being charged with stealing or attempting to steal from local banks.
Appearing in Magistrates’ Court, Twan Ngyuen was charged with stealing $6080 from Clarien Bank and attempting to steal $74,907 from the same bank between June and July this year.
He is also charged with attempting to steal an unknown amount of cash from HSBC Bermuda in June 22nd.
The defendant was not required to enter a plea as the charges must be heard in the Supreme Court, and he was remanded into custody by Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe, and is set to re-appear in court later this month.
