Basketball: Storm, Falcons & Warriors Win
The 2019 Bermuda Elite City Basketball League got underway inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a triple header that produced 293 total points.
In the opener the Storm defeated the Lions 57-39, Gershun Kurt and Ian Lim both lead the Storm with 14 points each, while Seaward Smith scored 12 points for the Lions.
Game 2 saw the Falcons defeat the Fort Knox Panthers 66-49. The Falcons were led to victory by Jason Simons who had15 points, while the Panthers were led by Leonardo Ballenilla who had a game high 16 points.
Game 3 saw the Warriors defeat Hornets by a score of 42-40, the Warriors got a game high 14 points from Darae Smith, while the Hornets were led by Brandon Morrison who had 10 points.
