Bermuda Championship Announces Final Field
The final field is set for the inaugural Bermuda Championship taking place this coming week at Port Royal Golf Course. Current FedexCup Points leader Lanto Griffin headlines a field that boasts 49 PGA Tour champions with a combined 130 victories. Two PGA Tour major champions, 2003 Masters Champion Mike Weir and 1997 PGA Championship winner Davis Love III, will compete.
“We are very proud and excited to have such a strong field for the inaugural Bermuda Championship,” said Tournament Director Sean Sovacool. “The field is full of talented young players mixed with PGA Tour veterans and local competitors. We feel the Bermuda Championship will be a tremendous event for the fans and Bermuda.”
Also competing in the tournament are five Bermudians; Daniel Augustus IV, Jarryd Dillas, 15-year old Kenny Leseur, Dwayne Pearman and Michael Sims. Augustus was added to the field as the first alternate from the local qualifier.

The Bermuda Championship is a four-round 72-stroke play tournament with a field of 120 players competing for a $US 3 million purse. The winner will receive 300 FedExCup points.
Tournament play for the Bermuda Championship runs October 31 – November 3, 2019. Fans can easily purchase tickets online.
