Reggie Lambe On Upcoming Match vs Mexico
[Written by Don Burgess]
Reggie Lambe says the 2-0 victory against Panama last month has inspired a belief that Bermuda can have at least a share of the spoils against Mexico.
The Gombey Warriors face Mexico in a Concacaf Nations League A match on Friday at 10 pm at the National Sports Centre.
The Bermuda international told Cambridgeshire Live news site, “It’s a tough game for us. It’ll be a good experience, especially to play at home in front of friends and family. It’s always good to go back to play with the national team. For us last time to beat Panama, I think we’ve got the confidence to take points from Mexico as well.”
He added: “Once you put that shirt on and see the badge on your shirt, you sort of realise that everyone is here to watch you play for your country, so that’s a big achievement and an honour.”
Go, Bermuda!!
