Bowring Marsh Bermuda Announces Promotions
Marsh announced several colleague promotions and achievements within its international placement specialist Bowring Marsh [Bermuda] Ltd.
The company said, “The following six colleagues were promoted to new officer titles in 2019:
- Kara Gibbons and Andrew Males were named Senior Vice President in the Property and Casualty Practices, respectively. Ms. Gibbons and Mr. Males joined Bowring Marsh as Insurance Assistants in 2005 and 2008 and are testament to the success of the firm’s strategy to provide career progression opportunities for its colleagues.
- Jamaine Smith, who joined Bowring Marsh in 2015, was named Vice President within the Casualty Practice.
- Jahan Cedenio [Financial and Professional Liability], Samantha Clyke [Healthcare], and Kyla Evans [Casualty] were named Assistant Vice President.

In addition, Marsh also recognized two Bowring Marsh [Bermuda] colleagues who recently passed exams to receive highly respected professional designations.
- Allison Bassett, Insurance Assistant, successfully achieved the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter [CPCU] designation.
- Trent Lightbourne, Associate Broker, successfully achieved the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter [RPLU] designation.
