Chef Chiko Donates $2000 To Help 2-Year-Old
Chef Michiko Campbell donated $2000 to assist a 2-year-old boy with medical needs, with the funds having been raised at the Chiko’s Smokey Rub Christmas Charity Event.
A spokesperson said, “The fifth annual Chiko’s Smokey Rub Christmas Charity Event took place on Sunday, December 22, 2019 with the event very successful feeding over 900 people, while also raising $2000 to assist a 2-year-old boy, Ehsan Smith-Perinchief, who has been diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. He also suffers from Epilepsy and Hypothyroidism.
“The severity of his condition is unknown. Because he is still very young and shows great drive and determination we believe that with therapy and assistive devices he will one day do everything he dreams of doing,” said his mother Alyssa.

Chef Chiko said, “I know that being a parent all we want is the best for our kids. I am happy to give this donation to aid in providing Ehsan with anything else he may need. Ehsan smiled when I showed him the cheque. That made my day.”
This was the last Christmas event, as Chef Chiko is hoping to move the event to the summer.
