City Extends Thanks After New Year’s Eve Event
It was a “very special night” at City Hall on New Year’s Eve as the “island was mesmerized with a visual experience,” and we are “acutely aware of all of the hard work that goes into such an event and are thankful to everyone who played a role in the night’s success.”
This was from the CoH Chief Operating Officer Dwayne Caines, who said, “It was a very special night at City Hall on December 31st-January 1st, as the island was mesmerized with a visual experience unlike any other ever staged in Bermuda. We had the opportunity to say goodbye to 2019 and bring in a new decade in fine style.

“The event from start to finish was a resounding success and the level of detail was truly amazing and it good to see and feel the support from the community. There was a conservative count and it is believed that at the apex of the night over 5,000 people celebrated in the City.
“We are acutely aware of all of the hard work that goes into such an event and as such I am thankful to everyone who played a role in the night’s success. The community was gifted with a memory that will live on in the hearts and minds and for that I am truly grateful.
“As a team we showed our island what can be done when ‘we’ work together and believe. There was no better way to bring in the 225th year of Democratic governance and leadership in the City of Hamilton.”
