Basketball League: Hoopstars & Twisters Win
Bermuda Basketball Association Winter League action resumed with a double header at the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium that produced 219 total points.
The first game saw the St George’s Hoopstars defeat the Southampton Thundercats 54 – 41. The St. George’s Hoopstars were led to victory by Jericho Tucker who had 14 points, while the Southampton Thundercats got 14 points from Calvert Lee.
The second game saw the Hamilton City Twisters defeat the Paget Flyboys sponsored by Bermuda College 66 – 58. Kameron James scored a game high 24 points to lead the Hamilton City Twisters, while the Paget Flyboys got 20 points from Jorel Smith.
