Felix Tod Will No Longer Perform With Brannon
Noting his “unacceptable comments,“ Felix Tod said that he will no longer perform alongside Tony Brannon.
Mr Tod said, “In light of Tony Brannon’s unacceptable comments, I have made the choice to no longer perform alongside him. For me, The Big Chill was not only about entertainment, but also about equality.
“It has been a great honour to share the stage with and bring forward young Bermudian talent and that is exactly what I will continue to do as a producer, DJ and musician.
“Jesse Seymour and I, together with guitarist Ben Payne and another amazing singer, will honour all our upcoming wedding and event commitments performing under a new name.
“I have always felt the support of this community in my work as DJ Felix and as a member of electronic band Milk n’ Money and my dream to provide quality entertainment to the island has not changed.
“Music provides a platform and we have a responsibility to use that platform to champion fairness. I’m looking forward to collaborating even more with local artists to bring great music to life.”

Felix who?
Be real, the comment that Tony said was not in the way the public is digesting it. This government has a lot to answer for, so much info, but nobody wants to speak out! smh
This could have been a good opportunity to show the island we can work through and learn from problems like these. Instead the message being sent is if you mess up, acknowledge you messed up, publicly apologize, take the steps to learn from your mistake, people will still turn their back on you and banish you.
The man has acknowledged his comment was appalling, disrespectful, and racist. He publicly apologized and is working with curb to better understand the seriousness of his actions. Does this fix the pain felt by those offended? No, this is not a magical bandaid it is simply a step in the right direction. Turning your back on someone does not help.
So when someone breaks the law do they get penalized for what they have done and still get rehabilitation if needed?
Maybe it will. Deterrent
Read some comments were the defence was cockroach is not a racial term, historically it was identified with the filthy enviroment in gallows that housed enslaved Africans across the Middle Passage.
So this guy is in de same catagory as de guy that posted that we should be hung and gutted.
The same spirit that hung and beheaded us on Gibbits Island is still alive.
Well done sir
Good for you. Stand for what’s moral. I applaud you and your band members.
Good
Felix Tod, I will no longer support you and your band… in my opinion Tony Brannon is a good man he entertained the patients at various rest homes,he has always been an activist…so what he made a mistake in using the word cockroach,Roban used the same word regarding the O,B.A. look what some others have said as leaders, come on you lot we have all said something we regret.
Activist for who and what, all the years of protest that we had in Bermuda for social and econmic justice I have’nt seen him, as a matter of FACT no one that even looks like him.
Or he is an activist for his own agenda.
Mmmmmmmmmmm
Done Well. Beast of luck in future endeavours.
Like heck! Won’t be supporting anyone who does not stand behind his friend and business partner – where is the honor in that? Sorry DJ Felix it’s you who won’t be working as you are not loyal! Man made a mistake for Gods sake – forgive and move on!
It’s interesting… band members generally know each other pretty well – so was TB a racist all this time and the band turned their back on it for the money or are they now turning their back on TB because he’s a political hot potato and they’re protecting their season’s income, an income that he generated and promoted. Let’s not be fooled, there is no Big Chill without TB.
Unfortunately, Mr. Tod and Co. will be playing to an empty room since there’s no one here. Which was kind of the point of Brannon’s rant, but hey let’s get outraged about Tony not the utter failure the PLP have been for almost 20 years.
