Curbside Service In The City To End On June 30
The City of Hamilton advises that curbside collection services in the City will end on Tuesday, June 30th, 2020.
A spokesperson said, “ The curbside initiative was integral to many businesses as it allowed them to continue their service to customers while their storefronts were shuttered during shelter in place and the early phases of recovery.
“Those businesses that took advantage of the scheme are asked to return their cones, between the hours of 9:00am and 4:30pm, Monday – Friday, to the City Works Depot on Laffan Street by June 30th.
“Customers will be asked to sign for the cones as being returned. Cones not received on or before June 30th will incur a fee of $50 each. Any cones remaining on City streets after this date will be collected by the City. For any queries please send an email to lsmith@cityhall.bm.
“The public is reminded that parking regulations in the City have returned to normal, as they were pre-COVID-19. The gratis parking for existing curbside service will conclude at the end of day on June 30th, 2020.”
