59 Front Street Store Is Open For Business
In an effort to clarify some of the confusion correlated with the Cooper’s stores going into liquidation, the Phoenix Stores reaffirmed that their store at 59 Front Street is open for business, noting that the Phoenix Stores took it over back in 2019.
A spokesperson said, “59 Front is open for business the company announced today. With news of one of the oldest names in Bermuda’s retail sector under liquidation, operators of 59 Front wish to assure its customers the brands they’ve grown to love are still available in-store with personal shopper service available via email: shop@fiftyninefront.bm.
“Brown & Co., a subsidiary of The Phoenix Stores Ltd, took over the lease, inventory and staff of the A.S. Cooper’s 7,500 square foot, ground floor business located at 59 Front Street on September 1, 2019.
Nicole Warren, General Manager of Brown & Co., says; “Unfortunately, with news circulating regarding the closure of ASC stores, there is some confusion about operations at the 59 Front Street location. 59 Front is indeed open for business with new and exciting items arriving weekly.”
“59 Front offers an extensive range of exclusive brands in jewellery and accessories, china and crystal, home and gifts, designer fragrances and beauty and cosmetics.
“In-store items include exclusive cosmetic and fragrance brands such as Clarins Paris, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, Jo Malone, Clinique, Shiseido, Bare Minerals, Origins, Moroccan Oil and Glam Glow; exclusive china and crystal brands: Waterford, Wedgwood, Villeroy & Boch, Kate Spade, Portmeirion and more; fashion jewellery lines Simon Sebbag, Fossil, Swatch, Oliver Weber and Swarovski Crystal.
“59 Front also stocks a few local brands including Lili Bermuda fragrances, Alexandra Mosher jewellery and Picturesque Bermuda books and prints.
Ms Warren adds; “The Phases of Covid-19 forced us to retail differently. During this period, we allowed customers to ring in or email order requests for collection resulting in a unique customer service experience which our customers appreciated and enjoyed.
