Statistics: BCB Cricket Weekend Top Performers

The Bermuda Cricket Board’s 2020 season got underway this past weekend, and the top performers with both bat and ball are below.

In the batting department, the weekend saw the first century of the season while six other batsmen reached half-centuries. Onias Bascome scored 111 for the St. George’s Cricket Club, but he could not prevent them from going down to Willow Cuts.

Regino Smith from Flatt’s Victoria was the second top scorer with 67 and Staphen Dill from Warwick Workmen’s Club had a score of 60 and finished as the third top scorer of the weekend.

With figures of 4-2-2-4, Cory Burgess from Warwick Workmen’s Club was the top bowler, while Shane Hollis from the Somerset Bridge returned figures of 4-0-10-3. Makai Young from Cleveland County returned figures of 3-0-10-3 and Malachi Jones had figures of 2.4-0-10-3 for the Southampton Rangers.
