BHB Expresses Gratitude To Little Venice Group
Bermuda Hospital Board [BHB] staff presented the Little Venice Group with a plaque on Friday to thank them for providing frontline and emergency staff with meals during the various COVID phases.
A spokesperson said, “The plaque shows a picture of frontline BHB departments and a group of hospital workers wearing masks and holding up signs with the words’ We are saying thank you.’
“BHB CEO Venetta Symonds and Chief of Emergency Dr. Chikezie Dean Okereke presented the plaque to LVG Chairman Emilio Barbieri with other members of BHB staff present.
“Also present was Dr. Stanley James from Premier Health and from the Little Venice Group, Executive Chef Danny Lim, and Chief Marketing Officer Belinda Barbieri.
“The Little Venice Group was originally approached by Dr. Stanley James from Premier Health in early April with the idea to donate meals. Dr. James and the Little Venice Group have worked together for a number of years providing Keto meals for a healthier lifestyle.
“The Little Venice Group realized the importance of supporting frontline workers affected the most by the pandemic and agreed without hesitation. The length and frequency of providing meals to BHB staff was further extended thanks to two anonymous donors.”
