Football: Dandy Town Hornets Defeat Cougars
The Dandy Town Hornets recently defeated the Devonshire Cougars at BAA Field in the Bermuda Football Association’s Premier Division opener.
Following a scoreless first half, the Dandy Town Hornets took the lead early in the second half when Azendae Furbert scored.
The Dandy Town Hornets then doubled their lead when 16-year-old David Blankendal – making his senior league debut – found the back of the net, giving his team a two goal lead as they shut out the Devonshire Cougars with a 2 – 0 win.
