Photos & Video: Bermuda Sandcastle Contest
The annual Bermuda Sandcastle Competition was held today [Sept 5] at Horseshoe Bay Beach. In an effort to adhere to social distancing, this year instead of the usual 40+ teams, numbers were limited to 20, all competing to create a sculpture out of the island’s signature pink sand, for a total of $3,000 worth of prizes.
We will update with the results later on, and in the meantime you can have a look at the sandcastles below, and view all our past coverage of sandcastles here.

Awseome!
Outstanding. Very talented and patient artists. Great to see. Thank you.
That nose and swab sandcastle is amazing! It should win for being the most appropriate for our times!
Very clever. I left Bermuda 30 years ago to move to Montana and I’m glad to see that Horseshoe Bay remains a magical place. Jeffrey Tiberi, Bermuda’s first Park Ranger.
