PLP Cancels Virtual Election Rally Due To Storm
Due to the approach of Tropical Storm Paulette, the PLP said they are “suspending all campaign operations” and have also cancelled their virtual rally which was scheduled for tonight.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda is currently under a Hurricane Warning. The Progressive Labour Party is suspending all campaign operations. All constituency campaigns are to cease political groundwork and focus on checking in with constituents before and after the storm and assisting as we can. The PLP’s virtual rally scheduled for this evening is also canceled to allow Bermudians to focus on preparing for the storm.”
