Dudley Eve Semi-Finals: Cougars & Hornets Win
The Devonshire Cougars and the Dandy Town Hornets will face off against each other in the Dudley Eve Final after both picked up semi-final wins at the National Sports Center.
Somerset Trojans 2 Devonshire Cougars 3 – After Extra Time
Jaz Rattery-Smith gave the Somerset Trojans the lead in the 28th minute when he converted from the penalty spot, and Jeze Butterfield doubled the Somerset Trojans lead in the 30th minute.
The Devonshire Cougars got themselves back into the match in the 44th minute when Drewonde Bascome converted from the penalty spot after he was brought down in the box, and Chris Casey equalized for the Devonshire Cougars in the 52nd minute.
The game would then go into extra time, and it was on the stroke of halftime the Devonshire Cougars would get what proved to be the winner off the boot of Christian Albouy.
North Village Rams 0 Dandy Town Hornets 4
The North Village Rams took to the National Sports Center for the second time this season and lost 4 – 0 in their Dudley Eve Semi-Final against the Dandy Town Hornets.
The Dandy Town Hornets took the lead in the 39th minute when Angelo Simmons scored, and Cecoy Robinson doubled the lead in the 53rd minute.
Five minutes later it was 3 – 0 as Simmons connected for his second of the match and then in the 74th minute Jahtino Richardson-Martin got his name on the scoresheet to complete the win for the Dandy Town Hornets and set them up for a spot in the final.
