First & Premier Division Football Results

Hamilton Parish, St. David’s, Young Men Social Club, PHC Zebras, and Somerset Trojans all claimed victories in this weekend’s First Division and Premier Division football action, while two matches ended in a draw.

First Division: Hamilton Parish 1 – Boulevard Blazers 0

At the Wellington Oval, Hamilton Parish saw off a challenge from the Boulevard Blazers, recording a 1 – 0 win. First Division leading goal scorer Jordan Outerbridge found the back of the net for the winner.

First Division: St. David’s 2 – Vasco 1

At Lord’s in St. David’s, the home team came from behind to defeat Vasco 2 – 1. Eduardo Veira gave Vasco the lead in the 17th minute, but Keijon Butterfield equalized for St. David’s in the 71st minute. The St. David’s winner came in stoppage time when Cody Richardson scored.

First Division: Young Men Social Club 4 – Flanagan’s Onions 0

At the Police Field, Young Men Social Club entertained the Flanagan’s Onion’s and came away with a 4 – 0 win. Social Club got single strikes from N’Zyah Edwards, Ryan Parris, Shakii Pearman, and Jahmir Lewis Trott.

Premier Division: Southampton Rangers 0 – PHC Zebras 1

The Southampton Oval was abuzz as the Southampton Rangers played host to neighbors PHC Zebras. It was the visitors who came away with all three points thanks to an Enrique Russell goal in the 35th minute, as well as a penalty saved by the PHC Zebras goalkeeper in the second half.

Premier Division: St. George’s Colts 1 – X-Roads 1

At the Wellington Oval, the St. George’s Colts and X-Roads played to a 1 – 1 draw. Kahmori Brangman gave X-Roads the lead in the 34th minute, only for Jahron Dickinson to equalize for the St. George’s Colts in the 70th minute.

Premier Division: Devonshire Colts 0 – Devonshire Cougars 0

In the battle of the Devonshires at the Police Field, the Devonshire Colts and the Devonshire Cougars played to a scoreless draw.

Premier Division: Somerset Trojans 1 – Somerset Eagles 0

In the West End Derby at the Somerset Cricket Club, a Jaz Rattery-Smith 35th minute penalty was the difference as the Somerset Trojans defeated the Somerset Eagles 1 – 0.
