‘Bermuda Shorts’ To Premiere On Christmas Eve
‘Bermuda Shorts’ — an animated sitcom in development — is premiering a Christmas special on Channel 82 on Christmas Eve, with an encore to air on Christmas Day.
A spokesperson said, “On Christmas Eve, Bermuda Shorts — an animated sitcom in development — is premiering a Christmas special on Channel 82. The special, also serving as a proof-of-concept for the series, was created and animated by local Bermudian artist Tashel Bean.
“The special follows its protagonist, Mateo Albouy, as he tries to ensure that his young daughter Dani has the best Christmas ever.
“The pilot features an all-Bermudian cast, including the voices of creator Tashel Bean and Bermudian DJ and personality LaToya Brangman.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Channel 82 to bring this idea to life. We’re hoping interest generated by this special helps springboard Bermuda Shorts into a full-fledged series.
“The Bermuda Shorts Christmas Special is premiering on Channel 82 at 8.30pm and again on Christmas Day at 8.30pm.”
