Mountain Bike Race Series Provisional Standings
The One Communications Mountain Bike Race Series concluded at Ferry Reach last weekend, and the provisional overall series standings, using their best six finishes out of the seven races cycled, are below.
After 2 wins and 4 second-place finishes Alexander Miller won the open male 60 minute division series with 138 points, with Robin Horsfield who missed the first two races but won the last five, finishing second with 125 points, while Alan Potts finished the division in third with 118 points.
Jennifer Wilson competed in six open women’s 60 minute series races winning once and finishing second five times to claim the title with 135 points, while Cassandra McPhee, who won all five races she competed in, finished second with 125 points, and finishing third was Ashley Robinson with 118 points.
Nico Davis claimed the men’s open 30 minute race series with 138 points, Michael Terceira was second with 123 points and Chad Townsell was third with 121 points.
In the women’s open 30 minute race series, two competitors finished with 141 points in first place, Caroline Wright and Christine Soutter both claimed three wins each, while Zina Jones finished third with 122 points.
