Plans To Repair Section Of Harbour Road Wall
The Ministry of Public Works advised of “upcoming plans to repair a 50-foot section of wall located on Harbour Road Paget, east of Highwood Lane and Lovers Lane.”
“In the coming weeks, the area in question will undergo remedial repairs to secure the wall section. Meanwhile, the planning and procurement of the necessary equipment and materials to complete permanent repairs will be carried out and executed in due course,” a spokesperson said,
“The Ministry will advise the public when the repairs are scheduled to begin and coordinate with the BELCO team completing trenching work on Middle Road to minimise traffic disruptions and ensure alternative routes are available.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the public’s full cooperation and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.”
Fifty feet of wall?
well, thats W&E booked for the rest of the year.
And the following year, they’ve been on that little section by tamarind vale long enough.. not Sure why they don’t sub out those more affected areas to habe them completed in a timely manner.
But who am i
Sumtin wrong here wiff dis Mep….and names….
Please just let a private company carry out the work that needs to be done.
W & E can’t finish anything on time, please hire a private contractor who will not onle do it quicker and a better quality job. A marine contractor could do this section from the water without removing the existing wall, just add another on the waterside. Less disruption.
Remember how long tit took to build that roundabout on the northern end of Blackwatch pass….
They Should Pave the Road Too ! Very Slippery with the slightest moisture.
