Opposition Leader Simons: ‘Ramadan Mubarak’
“I would like to wish our local Muslim community ‘Ramadan Mubarak’,” Opposition Leader Cole Simons said.
Mr. Simons said, “On behalf of the One Bermuda Alliance party, I would like to wish our local Muslim community ‘Ramadan Mubarak’. As Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection, self-improvement, heightened devotion and worship, our hope is that you and your loved ones are able to receive the necessary spiritual and mental nourishment through the Inshallah [fasting] process, to not only manage the challenges that lie ahead, but to also embrace life’s new beginnings.”
