April Bus Passes Extended Into May
The Ministry of Transport advised that all April bus passes will be extended into the month of May.
Minister of Transport Lawrence Scott said, “This has been a trying time for all of us. We would like to offer the customers who use the public bus and ferry service relief in being able to use their bus pass from April into the month of May.
“We know that there have been some challenges with the bus and ferry schedule during the Stay-at-home order period, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused our passengers. We hope this small gesture offers our bus and ferry users some financial respite.”
A spokesperson added. “The Ministry of Transport reminds the public that each of us has a role to play in stopping the spread of the coronavirus. Follow Public Health guidelines, wear a mask, practice good hand hygiene, maintain physical distance and download the WeHealth Bermuda app.
“Do the research, talk with your doctor, and make an informed decision about getting the Covid-19 vaccine.”
