Archers Advance In Gator Cup In Florida
Bernard Wade III and Jaydon Roberts began competing in the USAT #2 Easton Foundations Gator Cup 2021 in Newberry, Florida.
During the Gator Cup Qualification Rounds, Wade III competed in the Recurve Men’s Division with 50 other males finished 26th with a score of 592 to advance to the Elimination Round, while Roberts competing in the Recurve Cadet Division with 41 other males in his category, finished 32nd with a score of 508, also advancing to the Elimination Round.
Coach Ross Roberts said, “It has been challenging for the Archers to stay on track with their training program due to stay at home restrictions, however they showed they were ready to compete.”
