Bermuda Sailors Continue Competing In Mexico
The 2021 Optimist North American Championships continued in Mexico, the ten sailors flying the Bermuda Flag.
Trystan Hocking continues to lead the Bermuda fleet, but fell from 21st to 31st with 63 net points, PJ Rodrigues fell eight places to come off the water in 38th place with 71 net points.
Jordan Vierira moved up five places to end the day in 61st place with 106 net points, while Riley Lowe also moved up the leaderboard five places and is in 65th with 112 net points, Sarah Davis moved up four places to complete the day in 69th place with 115 net points.
Isaac Wickramage currently is in 70th up 6 places with 115 net points, Jack Adderley moved up one spot to end the day in 78th with 130 net points, while Kipling Rossouw moved up fourteen places in 80th with 132 net points.
Sophia Dias made the biggest move up the leaderboard for the Bermuda sailors when she moved up 17 places into the 85th spot with 140 net points, and Shiloh Cruickshank moved up seven places to exit the water in 93rd, with 161 net points.
Sailors competing in the championship are from nations including Argentina, Bahamas, Bermuda, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Chile, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, United States, Uruguay, Virgin Islands and Mexico.
