Relay For Life: One Communications Raises $6K
One Communications employees took part in the Relay For Life event, and raised $6,000 by walking, running, biking, and swimming 200 miles.
“The initiative, which began on 24 May, originally challenged participants to cover 100 miles in two weeks, a target that was reached before the end of week one,” a spokesperson said.
“Relay For Life Bermuda raises awareness and funds to support access to cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and support provided by the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre.”
“We are extremely proud of our team and their dedication to support Relay For Life,” said Frank Amaral, CEO of One Communications.
“The 200 miles demonstrates our commitment to walk hand in hand with those affected by cancer and raise awareness about the importance of early detection.”
