Cricket: Cameron Jeffers Helps Cowbridge Win
Cameron Jeffers and his Cowbridge Cricket Club 1st XI teammates picked up a 7 wicket victory over Newbridge Cricket Club 1st XI in Wales.
Cowbridge won the toss and sent Newbridge to bat, they restricted them to 168/8 in their allotted 50 overs, Ryan Watkins was the top scorer with 48, while Matthew Smart was the pick of the Cowbridge bowlers with figures of 10-2-25-2, Jeffers bowled 10-1-40-2.
In reply, Cowbridge scored 169/3, Ben Wright was the top scorer with 84 not out, Smart added 52 not out, Jeffers was not required to bat, Watkins returned figures of 10-1-36-2 for Newbridge.
